DUBLIN (October 27) – The Professional Fighters League (PFL), the fastest growing and most innovative sports league, has announced the full stacked fight card for the biggest night in European MMA at the 2023 PFL Europe Championship on Friday December 8th from the 3Arena in Dublin, Ireland.

In a night bursting with storylines, season-long journeys of PFL Europe Championship fighters intersperse with the return to Dublin of Irish MMA stars, as well as the beginning of what could be one of the most exciting MMA stories yet. Amongst the thirteen fights lies tensions, intrigue and high stakes.

Human highlight-reel Lewis McGrillen, currently with back-to-back KOs in PFL Europe this year, face Ireland-based Latvian Matiss Zaharovs in a sensational 50/50 match-up to qualify for PFL Europe 2024. Zaharovs steps into the SmartCage following his own viral finish in Manchester just weeks ago.

Also confirmed and looking to put on a show in front of the passionate home crowd in Ireland will be Dublin’s fan favourite Nathan Kelly returning to Dublin for the first time since 2022 for a showcase bout against France’s Dimitry Solimeis, and another national hero Dylan Tuke looks to qualify for the 2024 Europe season against the highly-rated Yazid Chouchane. It’s an Ireland v France double header.

Elsewhere on the card, grappling expert Tom Breese begins his journey to PFl Global’s $1m Championship season up against tough and unpredictable opposition in Cleiton Silva, while ex Cage Warriors Bantamweight champion Dom Wooding will return from injury to face stalwart of the Irish MMA scene, Ben Davis, in his first PFL Europe contest to qualify for PFL Europe 2024. Completing the professional fights on the card are Welsh star Bret Jones and France’s David Tonatiuh Crol clash in a much-anticipated Featherweight showcase bout, whilst Connor Hughes of England and Sebastian Santana Guedes of Spain will compete for a coveted place on the 2024 PFL Europe season.

Every fight matters at PFL Europe, and in amongst the qualifiers, global showcases and Championship bouts, we’ll see a future wonderkid of MMA, Nate Kelly, face off in his first ever major MMA event against Callum Seaton from Northern Ireland. Nate completes a card of 7 Irish fighters who are well and truly taking over the PFL Europe Championships.

These fighters join the Irish duo of Bantamweight Frans Mlambo and Lightweight John Mitchell, both of whom are one fight from the PFL Europe Championship title, for a huge fight card in Dublin on December 8 and a massive evening of action for Irish MMA. In addition to this, two of the UK’s most promising talents, Dakota Ditcheva and Simeon Powell, will compete in the respective Women’s Flyweight and Light Heavyweight finals in the hopes of securing the PFL Europe Championship title and life-changing $100,000 prize money.
