Myles Price vs. Anthony Pettis set for April 20th PFL Event

Team Ryano lightweight Myles Price (11-7) will take on Anthony Pettis (24-12) on the opening night of PFL’s Regular Season on April 20th 2022.

Price announced that he had signed with the American based promotion last year, and that he would compete in the lightweight division. Price will compete in the same category with the likes of last years winner Raush Manfio, Clay Collard, Stevie Ray, Oliver Aubin Mercier & Jeremy Stephens.

Each fighter will fight three times in the regular season, with points being awarded to the winning competitor, fighters who go on to finish their opponent are rewarded with bonus points. Whoever finishes the regular season in the top-four moves onto the playoffs and earns their shot at the $1,000,000 cash prize for the eventual winner of the bracket.

The Team Ryano Kilkenny head coach last competed at Bellator 217 where he picked up a decision win over Peter Queally in the co-main event which was held in the 3Arena, Dublin.

Earlier this year, Price spoke to SevereMMA about his hopes of being matched up with the former UFC lightweight champion.

The Team Ryano man has got his wish and will go up against Pettis in a lightweight showdown on Wednesday, April 20th at PFL’s 2022 Season first event.
