Leon Hill Signs Multi-Fight Cage Warriors Deal

Team KF lightweight Leon Hill (4-1) has penned a multi-fight contract with Cage Warriors. The promotion confirmed the news to SevereMMA.com earlier today.

The Irishman is no stranger to the famous yellow gloves. For his professional debut in 2020, Hill stepped in on days’ notice to face Joshua Onwordi at Cage Warriors 116. Originally there to corner then teammate Ian Garry, Hill found himself on the other side of the cage when Onwordi’s original matchup was scratched due to a positive COVID-19 test.

Following the decision loss to Onwordi, Hill would find himself sidelined, partly due to injury, for the better part of 2 years.

Hill’s return in 2022 proved to be a banner year for the Chris Fields trained prospect, registering a clean 4-0 run in the space of just 5 months.

Finishing every opponent put in front of him on the Irish and UK regional scene—and looking levels above his competition—Hill was awarded with a multi-fight contract by leading UK promotion Cage Warriors. He joins Team KF teammates Ryan Shelley, James Webb, Omran Chaaban, Adam Shelley and Taka Mhandu in the promotion.
