Ireland’s James “Jimbo Slice” Sheehan (4-2) has been booked for his next fight. The Dubliner is set to face Frenchman Martin Causse (3-1) in a welterweight contest at Cage Warriors 140. Multiple sources confirmed the matchup to SevereMMA.com.

The fight, which takes place on Saturday 25th June in Belfast’s SSE Arena, will mark Sheehan’s first bout on Irish soil in 4 years.

Sheehan currently rides a three-fight win streak. Since losing to Ian Garry in 2019, the Team Ryano man submitted Kyran Sturrock, bested Omiel Brown over three rounds, and most recently scored a devastating knockout over Karol Michalak at Cage Warriors 135 in April.

Standing across the cage from Sheehan will be Martin Causse. Causse trains out of Boxing Squad in Nice. The BJJ purple belt’s sole loss in MMA came in his pro debut in 2016. Aside from a single “No Contest” result, Causse has notched three 1st-round finishes since that defeat. However, Causse has not competed since 2019, and he will face his most formidable opponent to date in Sheehan.

Sheehan vs Causse will take place at Cage Warriors 140 on Saturday 25th June in Belfast’s SSE Arena. The event will be streamed live on UFC Fight Pass.
