Well, Here’s the Good News

It’s not all doom and gloom in the MMA world. Some members of the MMA community have been doing some great things and announcing great personal news. It’s important, especially in these strange times to stay positive. We have decided to help keep that positivism flowing the best that we can.

Here are some good news stories from the world of Mixed Martial Arts.

Last week we shared that team KF raised over 5000 euro for the Jigsaw Foundation. They have passed the baton to SBG Dublin24 and head trainer Paddy Holohan. Best of luck to all involved.

Amidst the pandemonium currently happening on the streets in the United States, Jon Jones is helping to ensure peace is being kept in his adopted home city of Albuquerque. The UFC light heavyweight champion may be losing his belt soon but he is ensuring that the people of his city don’t lose their heads. He is also helping out small local businesses that have been affected by looting. Kudos to the champ.

A recent foe of Jon Jones is Israel Adesanya. The UFC middleweight champion, who is a Nigerian-born New Zealander based in Auckland, joined thousands in a Black Lives Matter protest and used his platform to raise awareness on the matter. He gives a rousing speech.
