Video – Rhys McKee moves to 3-0 after KO of Shaun Luther at ‘Warlords’

Next Generation Northern Ireland prospect Rhys McKee returned to action this weekend as he defeated Shaun Luther via KO in the 2nd round at the ‘Warlords’ promotion tonight (11th June 2016) in Bridgwater, Somerset, U.K.

McKee only turned professional in September 2015 when he made his debut at BAMMA 22 in Dublin defeated John “Johnny Jitsu” Redmond via rear naked choked at welterweight.

Since then he has stayed busy and took his record to 2-0 with a 2nd round head kick KO of Alex Masuku at BAMMA 24 in February 2016 and is now 3-0 following tonight’s victory over Luther.

McKee fought most of his amateur career at featherweight, but after debuting at welterweight and now winning twice on the bounce at lightweight he’ll likely be in no rush to cut back down to 145lbs.
